Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Manager II to coordinate maintenance staff, schedule repairs, and oversee building upkeep across multifamily properties. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with OSHA and local codes, and maintaining inventory while controlling monthly maintenance budgets.

You will work with a team across on-site properties, perform inspections, supervise contractors, and participate in new construction or modernization projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five or more years of progressive maintenance and safety experience.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work independently and prioritizes tasks.
• Oversee 300-500 units in one community.
• EPA section 608 Type I – Appliance, Type II – HVAC or Universal certifications.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance staff and assign work to crews.
• Ensure safety training and complete property safety audits.
• Inspect property grounds and perform required repairs and replacements.
• Monitor preventive maintenance programs and budgets.
• Provide on-call support and respond to resident requests.
• Maintain tools and equipment inventory.
