Job summary

JLL is seeking an Account Lead to manage delivery of Facility Management and Project Management services for a large on-site client in Jamaica, NY. The role focuses on executing the account plan, ensuring contractual compliance, and driving performance across a large, high-rise portfolio.

You will lead diverse teams, hire qualified staff, coach for performance, and drive client satisfaction while targeting growth opportunities and safe operations on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Facility Management and Project Management services for large-scale facilities.
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence and drive results.
• Data-driven decision making using historical facts.
• Proven leadership across People, Finance and Innovation domains.
• Leadership of large Facility/Project Management teams.
• Understanding of outsourcing models and real estate industry fundamentals.
• Strong financial acumen with complex contracts and pricing terms.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results and adherence to ethical standards.
• Experience managing a single Class A office high-rise building (≥1,000,000 sq ft) in the past 7 years.
• Must be on-site Monday–Friday and respond in person for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all contractual requirements and adhere to contract terms.
• Develop and execute the Account Plan aligned to client objectives.
• Drive high-quality results and exceed client expectations.
• Respond to day-to-day FM issues and escalate as needed.
• Hire the best-qualified candidates to build a high-performing account team.
• Set clear goals for direct reports and ensure alignment across the team.
• Provide coaching to elevate performance within the account team.
• Support diversity and inclusion through talent moves and promotions.
• Manage the account P&L to align with the plan.
• Mitigate financial risk by keeping A/R under 60 days payable.
• Leverage JLL capabilities to identify growth opportunities for the client.
• Collaborate with leadership to retain and expand the current book of business.
• Identify ways to improve execution efficiency and add client value.
• Maintain safety culture across buildings and the client site.
• Secure renewal of all contract options.
