Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a facilities team across multiple Nordstrom stores within a node. The role focuses on HVAC, building systems, and preventive maintenance, with responsibilities including mentoring technicians and coordinating with vendors and the FM.

You will work to ensure safe, compliant operations, manage parts and documentation in CMMS, and participate in store leadership meetings to support daily readiness and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or higher degree preferred in facilities or a technical field.
• 5+ years in hands-on facilities with mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance on critical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues across store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and EMCS; document outcomes.
• Mentor and develop junior technicians; delegate work when appropriate.
• Assist with parts ordering, vendor meetings, and coordination with FM.
