Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead and mentor a team ensuring a safe store environment across several locations. This role supports the Facility Manager in performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on various systems including HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of facilities experience, particularly in mechanical maintenance, and must be able to work a flexible schedule. Strong communication skills and the ability to lift over 50 lbs are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on facilities experience with emphasis on mechanical maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform planned and on-demand preventive maintenance on critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot HVAC and building control system issues.
• Coordinate with store leadership, vendors, contractors, and landlords.
