Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team and keep store environments safe and well-maintained across multiple Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations. You will support the Facility Manager, execute preventive maintenance, and mentor junior technicians to ensure high standards of operation.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, system monitoring, vendor coordination, and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities with mechanical maintenance
• 5+ years in HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CMMS experience
• Experience with CMMS and Coupa ordering system a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems affecting store operations
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems
• Document maintenance activities and mentor other technicians
• Assist FM with training and vendor coordination
• Maintain safety through adherence to LOTO and PPE procedures
