Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Facilities Manager to oversee operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio. You will lead staff, coordinate daily activities, manage capital projects and budgets, and maintain client relationships while enforcing safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), strong leadership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A facilities management certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience; valid driver's license.
• Facility management certification preferred.
• Experience leading staff, coaching, and evaluating performance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision, train staff, conduct evaluations, and hire new employees.
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules, assign tasks, and mentor staff.
• Oversee facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and resolve unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections compliant with regulations and pursue improvements.
• Develop environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Manage vendor relationships and approve purchase orders for parts and labor.
• Apply cross-functional knowledge to achieve department goals.
• Lead by example, promote CBRE values, and influence teams.
• Identify and solve complex technical and operational problems.
• Understand broader departmental impacts and drive improvements.
