Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager for a Minnesota-based portfolio. You will lead building operations, maintenance, and capital projects, coordinating vendors, staff, and budgets to ensure facility performance and compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing schedules, maintaining client relationships, and driving process improvements while upholding CBRE RISE values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Facility Management certification preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, track training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruiting and hiring.
• Coordinate and manage team's daily activities, set schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and mentor as needed.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage large capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and QA, suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrades.
• Create environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing; review and approve purchase orders.
• Apply broad knowledge of the business and inter-discipline collaboration to achieve objectives.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values to influence others.
• Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
• Understand the broader impact across the department.
• Improve and change methods, processes, and standards within the discipline.
