Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to assist with operation troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial buildings and related systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record; may require commercial license.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word; may work extended or on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including HVAC, plumbing, roofs and equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical and mechanical devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Repair building finishes such as ceilings, hardware, walls; paint where needed.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests; inspect for unsafe conditions.
• Maintain fire and life safety systems and perform preventative maintenance.
