Job summary

The Ohio State University invites applications for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at Ross Heart Hospital (0353). Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent, or combination of education and experience.
• Two years' experience in general maintenance or equivalent.
• OSHA 10-hour General Industry Safety and Health card; competency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC).
• Respond to emergency situations and correct defects.
• Assist other trades as needed; maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper documentation; provide high level customer service.
