Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits, reverse engineer threats, and develop automation to support adversary tracking. The role emphasizes high-quality intelligence reporting and collaboration across teams to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Remote with possible travel, MA/MS or equivalent experience in CS preferred. Location: Remote in the United States; salary range aligns with market rates and includes performance-based components.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in userspace and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two operating systems, including Windows.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools and processes.
• Programming/scripting in Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain exploit analysis automation tools.
• Create classification framework for intrusion activity based on exploits.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with mitigation guidance.
• Brief customers and internal teams on technical findings.
• Collaborate across teams to track adversaries and campaigns.
