CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled security researcher in a remote US-based role. The position focuses on researching in-the-wild exploits, tracking adversaries, and developing automation for exploit analysis within the Threat Intelligence team.

Strong reverse engineering, Python, and AI-assisted tooling skills are required. The role demands excellent written communication, collaboration across teams, and the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable guidance.

Formación

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in userspace and kernel-level exploits.
• Knowledge of network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two OS platforms, including Windows.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Strong writing skills and ability to present complex analyses.

Responsabilidades

• Implement tracking systems that inform cross-team adversary tracking efforts based on observed exploitation behavior.
• Improve and maintain capabilities for detecting exploits and malicious payloads using existing data sources.
• Identify opportunities for increasing visibility of threats, specifically exploits, using new data sources.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of exploits through reverse engineering.
• Develop tools to automate exploit analysis within static and dynamic analysis frameworks.
• Create a classification framework to aid attribution of intrusion activity based on vulnerabilities used.
• Contribute to active mitigation efforts with technical expertise.
• Develop host-based and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting and detection.
