Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits, perform deep reverse engineering, and develop automation for exploit analysis. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Intelligence team to track adversaries and deliver actionable threat intelligence.

The candidate should have MA/MS in Computer Science, strong writing skills, and experience with Python, disassemblers, debuggers, and AI-assisted tooling. Remote role with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with exploitation techniques seen in userspace and kernel exploits.
• Knowledge of network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Windows and other OS platforms.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to brief complex analyses.
• Experience in using AI tools to accelerate vulnerability research.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain exploitation analysis tools and automation.
• Track adversary behavior and contribute to threat intelligence reports.
• Collaborate with intelligence teams to inform mitigation strategies.
• Create signatures for host-based and network-based hunting.
• Brief customers and internal stakeholders on technical findings.
