Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Experience Designer to conceptualize and deliver human-centered solutions for client experiences. This hands-on role requires leading design activities, articulating decisions to partners, and mentoring junior designers.

You will collaborate across cross-functional teams, apply UX research, service design, and accessibility best practices to create engaging, inclusive digital experiences that drive client value and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 4+ years of experience in the field
• Experience leading projects from inception to delivery
• Excellent ability to communicate ideas and rationales to influence decision-making
• Strong understanding and application of industry and discipline standards
• Excellent time and issue management skills
• Extensive experience creating artifacts and executing ideas
• Ability to give and accept critique, coaching, and feedback
• Proficiency in applicable software applications
• English language fluency

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities in cross-functional development teams to create industry leading experiences for clients, teammates and the business.
• Coach experience designers and/or lead design initiatives to create inclusive and engaging client experiences that support strategic vision.
• Serve as lead with internal/external partners to provide expertise of experience design standards, guidelines, principles, research results and best practices.
• Collaborate with talent teams to understand broader organizational goals and context.
• Contribute to experience design strategy and future vision for assigned areas and drive client value.
• Design artifacts across environments and improve design processes and systems.
• Foster productive partnerships and advocate for design.
• Communicate and present concepts and design rationale clearly.
