Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a hands-on Experience Designer to conceptualize and deliver highly complex human-centric client experiences. You will lead design activities within cross-functional teams, coach other designers, and collaborate with partners to apply design standards and research results.

The role requires delivering artifacts, driving strategy, and communicating design rationale to influence decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in the field, may include equivalent education.
• Experience leading projects from inception to delivery.
• Excellent ability to communicate ideas and rationales to influence decision-making.
• Strong understanding and application of industry and discipline standards.
• Excellent time and issue management skills.
• Extensive experience creating artifacts and executing ideas.
• Ability to give and accept critique, coaching, and feedback and to promote a culture of critique.
• Proficiency in applicable software applications.
• English language fluency.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities in cross-functional development teams to create industry leading experiences for clients, teammates and the business.
• Coach experience designers and/or lead design initiatives to create inclusive and engaging client experiences that support strategic vision.
• Serve as lead with internal/external partners to provide expertise of experience design standards, guidelines, design principles, research results and best practices.
• Collaborate with teams to understand broader organizational context and goals.
• Contribute to experience design strategy and future vision for assigned areas to drive client value.
• Design and deliver artifacts across environments and improve design processes and systems.
• Foster productive partnerships and advocate for design.
• Communicate and present concepts and design rationale clearly.
