IFG Companies is seeking an Executive Underwriter to develop and manage a profitable primary casualty book. You will build strong relationships with wholesale producers to drive favorable submissions and long-term underwriting success.

You will evaluate new and renewal submissions within guidelines, quote them using rating tools and data, and coordinate with underwriters and Corporate Underwriting as needed. The role is hybrid and offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of commercial primary casualty underwriting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college/university with a related major.
• CPCU or other relevant insurance-related designations are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Meet with producers to present high-quality submission opportunities for quoting.
• Identify submissions for quoting using prioritization tools and data.
• Determine pricing, structure and coverage terms with guidance from rating tools and guidelines.
• Maintain communication with producers about product line offerings and appetite.
• Travel to meet producers and build relationships.
• Mentor and train less experienced underwriters and staff.
