Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a US college/university with a major or coursework in insurance or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience underwriting commercial general liability insurance.
• Established wholesale producer contacts and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to underwriting strategies, pricing models and product development.
• Monitor performance metrics and actionable insights.
• Provide technical underwriting expertise and resolve problems per policies and procedures.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to agencies/brokers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents/brokers to write and retain accounts.
• Partner with actuarial, product development, claims and operations teams to evaluate risk and pricing.
