Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking an events professional to support end-to-end delivery of in-person, hybrid, and virtual events in New York. You will coordinate venue research, planning, budgeting, and logistics while leveraging platforms like Cvent and Zoom.

The role offers collaboration with senior team members to shape and deliver high-impact events. Responsibilities include pre-event planning, budget management, post-event reporting, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in event marketing or similar role; finance/corporate exposure advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Willing to work outside standard hours and travel within the US as required.
• Strong organization and ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of events across in person, hybrid and virtual formats.
• Coordinate venue research, pre-event planning and budget management.
• Handle transportation logistics and invoice processing.
• Contribute to post-event reporting to measure outcomes and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with senior teammates to shape and deliver event projects.
