Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking a Senior Event Manager in New York, NY, hybrid with three in-office days per week.

You will own end-to-end planning for webcasts, virtual events, and in-person programs, managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact experiences. You will lead, mentor, and develop the Virtual Event Coordinator, coordinating with Editorial, Sales, Marketing, and Technology to align priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of webcast and in-person event management experience.
• Strong experience with virtual event and webcast platforms, including live broadcasts.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events, timelines, budgets, vendors, and priorities.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior team members is preferred.
• Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting costs, and negotiating vendor/venue contracts.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with senior stakeholders.
• Initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and sound judgment.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings or irregular hours as needed.

Responsabilités

• Oversee management of webcasts and virtual events, including planning, timelines, budgets, SOPs, registration, vendor management, and post-event reporting.
• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of in-person events, including budgets, registration, onsite logistics, and post-event reporting.
• Enhance client experience, maintain client relationships, and support activations.
• Mentor and guide the Virtual Event Coordinator and team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve event delivery and introduce innovative formats.
