Job summary

Pearson in the United States is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Events to independently own critical components of customer-facing events, conferences, sponsorships and association programmes that support Pearson's go-to-market priorities.

You will translate business objectives into high-quality event experiences, coordinating internal teams, external partners, vendors and sponsors to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience independently managing complex business events.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and vendors across programmes.
• Strong planning, budgeting and delivery capabilities.
• Proven track record of driving attendee engagement and outcomes.
• Comfort with data, metrics and post-event analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead event planning and delivery from planning through post-event follow-up.
• Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, venues and registrations.
• Translate objectives into clear event plans and success metrics.
• Coordinate activities across internal teams and external partners.
• Support sponsorships and association programmes from planning to activation.
• Capture outcomes, analyze performance data and drive improvements.
