Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Events to independently own critical components of customer-facing events, conferences, sponsorships and association programmes. You will translate business objectives into high-quality experiences, coordinating internal teams, external partners, vendors and sponsors to ensure successful delivery.

This role balances strategy with execution, provides guidance to junior colleagues, and contributes to continuous improvement of Pearson's global events

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience independently managing complex events, conferences, sponsorships or association programmes.
• Strong ability to coordinate internal teams and external partners to deliver flawless events.
• Excellent project management with budget tracking and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned event workstreams from planning through post-event follow-up.
• Manage timelines, budgets, venues, registration, communications and production.
• Translate objectives into clear event plans, milestones and success metrics.
• Coordinate activities across internal teams and external partners to ensure delivery excellence.
• Support sponsorships and partnerships from planning through activation.
