Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Events to own critical components of customer-facing events, conferences, sponsorships and association programmes that support Pearson's go-to-market priorities.

You will translate business objectives into high-quality event experiences, coordinating internal teams, external partners, and sponsors to ensure successful delivery, while maintaining alignment across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience independently managing complex events, conferences, sponsorships or association programmes.
• Strong project management including work planning, budgets, dependencies and stakeholder coordination.
• Proven success delivering events with vendors, agencies and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned event workstreams from planning through post-event follow-up.
• Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, venues, registration activities and attendee communications.
• Translate objectives into clear event plans, milestones and success measures.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure readiness and delivery excellence.
• Support event execution while ensuring a high-quality attendee experience.
