Job summary

TransUnion is seeking an Event Management and Experiences Manager to lead strategic planning, coordination, and flawless execution of our Diversified Markets events. This hybrid role requires on-site leadership at the Chicago office multiple days per week and virtual collaboration across teams.

You will manage a portfolio of 6-8 high-visibility events annually, coach 2-4 event professionals, and partner with marketing, sales, product, and leadership to align strategy and execution across complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience planning and executing complex B2B events.
• People leadership experience with coaching and accountability across a team.
• Strong end-to-end event management knowledge including budgeting, sourcing, and on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in in-person event execution with on-site leadership.
• Own a portfolio of 6-8 high-visibility events annually with on-site oversight.
• Coach a team of 2-4 event professionals through virtual and in-person collaboration.
• Partner cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and leadership.
• Balance strategic objectives with tactical delivery across concurrent events.
• Conduct on-site venue walks, vendor meetings, and logistics reviews.
• Serve as the on-site decision-maker during live events, managing issues in real time.
• Travel as needed and work non-standard hours to support events.
