Job summary

Q2 is seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead the development and execution of event marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility and drive growth. You will partner with Leadership, Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align events with business goals.

You will act as the primary backup to the Manager, Events & Tradeshow, mentor new Event Managers, and travel about 20% to execute flagship experiences and executive engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in corporate or association event management and trade shows.
• Experience delivering executive-level, account-based events for enterprise clients is ideal.
• Proven ability to align event strategy with pipeline objectives and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual event calendar and portfolio for an assigned segment.
• Lead cross-functional planning across marketing, sales, product, and customer success.
• Manage 15+ multi-tier events annually and present data-backed recommendations.
• Act as the primary backup to the Event Team Manager and ensure continuity.
• Mentor and onboard new Event Managers; travel ~20%.
