Job summary

TransUnion LLC is seeking an Event Management and Experiences Manager to lead strategic planning, flawless execution, and performance management of diversified markets events across multiple business verticals. The role oversees a portfolio of proprietary customer summits, advisory boards, and B2B tradeshows, with a small team and on-site leadership across venues.

The position is hybrid, requiring two days per week on-site at a TransUnion office, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, business, or related field.
7+ years experience planning and executing complex B2B events.
People leadership experience with hiring, coaching, and accountability.
Strong end-to-end event management knowledge: strategy, budgeting, contracting, production, attendee experience, risk management.
Experience partnering with marketing, sales, product, procurement, finance, legal, and senior leaders in a matrixed org.
Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

Lead and actively participate in in-person event execution with on-site presence.
Own and provide hands-on leadership for 6-8 high-visibility events annually.
Coach and support a team of 2-4 event professionals.
Partner cross-functionally to align event strategy and execution.
Navigate priorities and manage multiple concurrent events.
Conduct on-site venue walk-throughs and vendor meetings for readiness.
Serve as primary on-site decision-maker during live events.
