Job summary

Elon University seeks an Event Technology Services Lead to manage daily on-site AV support for events at the Queens campus in Charlotte. You will oversee live audio, video streaming, and event technology setup, while guiding student staff and coordinating with campus partners to meet service standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and flexibility to support events during mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent technical training in Audio/Video production or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Audio Production, Live Event Production, or related field is preferred.
AV/IT industry certifications (CTS, Dante, etc.) are advantageous.
Experience with live event production and on-site AV support is required or highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on AV setup, operation, troubleshooting, and breakdown for campus events.
Coordinate event technology staffing, equipment readiness, and client needs on site.
Lead and mentor student employees, ensuring safety and service standards.
Maintain equipment readiness and perform basic preventive maintenance.
Collaborate with campus partners to improve service delivery and event workflows.
