Job summary

UCLA Student Affairs seeks an Audio Visual Systems Coordinator to oversee on-campus events and Residential Life programs. You will manage AV and live event technologies, maintain equipment, and provide strategic recommendations and project management for diverse initiatives.

You'll work with student technicians, coordinate stage crews, and apply advanced knowledge of Crestron/Extron systems and AV equipment to support engaging experiences in on-campus housing facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital and analog live sound reinforcement systems.
• Proficiency with Mac and PC and MS Office/Google apps.
• Ability to program and troubleshoot audio, lighting and video systems; perform needed repairs.
• Ability to supervise student technicians and other student employees.
• Ability to analyze the technical needs of a variety of events.
• Ability to prioritize assignments; meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the production of Residential Life programs, with emphasis on on-campus venues and events.
• Maintain and operate advanced AV technologies and equipment; oversee stage crews.
• Provide strategic recommendations and project management for initiatives.
• Assist with coordination of event staging and personnel; ensure safety and quality.
