Job summary
The University Memorial Center is seeking an AV Lead Specialist to provide professional audio-visual support for events on campus and off-site. The role includes hiring, scheduling, training the AV student team, and coordinating with event planners and CU venues to ensure smooth AV operations.
Strong knowledge of AV systems, hands-on setup experience, and leadership in supervising student staff are essential.
Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of audio visual concepts, equipment, and software in AV disciplines.
- Experience setting up and operating equipment for AV events.
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills.
- Leadership experience in supervising AV student staff is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Set up AV equipment for all UMC rooms and campus spaces in a timely, customer-focused manner.
- Schedule student staff and coordinate with event planners and custodial teams.
- Supervise AV student staff and oversee training and evaluations.
- Test, maintain, and repair AV equipment; manage storage and security.
