Job summary

Heritage Exposition Services is seeking an Account Executive - Producing (Project Manager) to lead event production from planning through on-site execution. You will oversee the assigned team, coordinate labor and equipment, and ensure client expectations are exceeded across multiple trade show sites.

The role requires strong project management, budgeting, and mentorship skills, with frequent travel and weekend availability as show schedules demand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or event production.
• Proficient in Boomer Software, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong ability to manage event logistics, labor coordination, and equipment planning.
• Experience in financial oversight, invoice processing, and billing procedures.
• Ability to problem-solve in fast-paced environments and make strategic decisions under pressure.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing team members.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, deadlines, and compliance.
• Valid Drivers License and reliable form of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution – Ensure assigned jobs are produced successfully, safely, and efficiently while managing all aspects of event execution.
• On-Site Oversight & Logistics Coordination – Be on-site 20 hours before move-in, present during all show hours, and stay through the final walkthrough with the facility.
• Equipment & Inventory Management – Confirm rental equipment is in place before move-in and manage load lists and production outlines.
• Financial & Billing Oversight – Provide a draft invoice or detailed billing outline for AE to process within two weeks after move-out.
• Process Improvement & Team Development – Identify variances from SOPs and mentor, train, and develop team members.
• Client & Stakeholder Management – Liaise between operations and account management to ensure clear communication and client satisfaction.
