Job summary

Amex GBT is seeking a Senior Event Producer to lead assigned programs for a dedicated Experience Studio team around one enterprise client. You will own the plan, budget, and production for each program and act as the daily contact for stakeholders.

You will direct creative and production, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate with venue, production partners, and internal teams to deliver top-tier events. This role requires deep production proficiency and strong executive presence.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years producing corporate meetings and events, with at least three years as lead producer.
• Experience on a dedicated account team under a client statement of work.
• A portfolio that includes multi-day executive programs, audiences of 500+ and budgets above $1M.
• Production fluency: brief/direct partners, read a production schedule, and manage the run of show.
• Budget ownership with accurate forecasts, clean reconciliations, and change control.
• Strong command of enterprise project/tools; comfortable in a client-owned environment.
• Executive presence: run planning meetings with senior stakeholders and deliver hard updates.
• Ability to lead a program team you do not manage, with clear expectations and direct feedback.
• Detailed written communication: status reports, decision logs, and client updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned programs as the producer of record from brief to close.
• Work with client’s own producers and meet same standards.
• Serve as the daily contact for program stakeholders; manage cadences and updates.
• Direct creative and production: brief partners, review against brand standards, run of show.
• Own each program budget from initial estimate to reconciliation.
• Direct event managers and attendee coordinators; coordinate with Studio Ops Manager.
• Maintain master timeline, milestone tracking, and decision logs for all programs.
• Collaborate with sourcing on venue/supplier selection and contract enforcement.
