Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel seeks a Senior Event Producer to lead programs for a dedicated Experience Studio team. You will own the plan, budget, and production, acting as the daily contact for program stakeholders and coordinating with client producers to meet brand standards.

You will manage budgets end-to-end, oversee onsite delivery, staffing, and risk, and partner with sourcing to secure venues and production partners. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years producing corporate meetings and events.
• Experience on a dedicated account team under a client statement of work or in a corporate events department.
• Portfolio includes multi-day executive programs, audiences of 500+ and budgets above $1M.
• Production fluency: brief and direct partners, read a production schedule, and manage budget vs. show.
• Budget ownership with forecasts, reconciliations, and change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned programs as producer of record from brief to close.
• Collaborate with client producers on flagship programs and maintain same standards.
• Act as daily program stakeholder contact, manage planning cadences and status updates.
• Direct creative and production: brief partners, ensure brand standards, own run of show.
• Own program budgets from initial estimate to final reconciliation and supplier commits.
• Lead onsite delivery: staffing plans, pre-con meetings, leadership huddles, issue escalation.
• Maintain master timeline, milestones, and decision logs in project tools.
• Coordinate with sourcing for venue/suppliers and enforce contracts onsite.
• Lead staffing and risk discussions with Studio Operations Manager.
• Provide clear feedback to program teams and manage scope/risk across programs.
