Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to lead and troubleshoot complex vehicle repairs in service centers and on-site at customer locations. You will mentor junior staff, drive continuous improvement, and tackle high-level diagnostics using specialized equipment.

Role may require travel to remote sites or production plants. Strong leadership and deep HV/ECU knowledge are essential for success in this fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Graduation from an automotive repair program preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; 21+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex vehicle repairs in service centers and in the field.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance to field teams and remote troubleshooting as needed.
• Coach, mentor and train junior technicians; lead problem-solving efforts on the shop floor.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to resolve HV and network faults with PPE safety.
• Document repairs and feedback to engineering and service leadership.
• Coordinate parts, scheduling, and customer interactions during escalations.
