Rivian in the United States seeks a Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader for complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role blends service-center work with remote and on-site field support, including travel to remote locations and production plants as needed.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, high-voltage systems, and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Graduation from automotive repair school or vocational program is preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in automotive repair environments beneficial.
• Experience with high voltage systems and diagnostic tools is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Advanced Diagnostics & Complex Repairs: perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, complex repairs, installations, and inspections on vehicles in service centers and field settings.
• Technical Support & Remote Troubleshooting: provide high-level diagnostic guidance and perform remote diagnostics or repairs.
• Leadership & Mentorship: coach, mentor, and train junior technicians; foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced Tools & Methodologies: use diagnostic tools (PICO-Scope, PCAN, Kavaser Memorator, breakout boxes) to resolve complex faults.
• Quality & Process Standardization: conduct road tests to verify repair quality and drive standardization across workflows.
• Parts Operations & Systems: oversee parts operations including ordering, receiving, inventory management, and billing.
• Documentation & Technical Feedback: produce documentation and provide root-cause analysis and feedback to field teams.
• Customer & Cross-Functional Engagement: interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
