Job summary

ASML US, LP is seeking a Senior Scientist – EUV Research to join the Technology Development team. The role focuses on conceiving and demonstrating technologies for high-power EUV light sources, based on laser produced plasma, with emphasis on laser systems, metrology, and experimental design.

You will develop and test droplet generation hardware, build metrology capabilities, and contribute to roadmaps and product guidance while working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS with 3+ years in relevant field as described.
• Strong background in materials, optics, or physics and metrology.
• Hands-on experience with high-pressure systems and rapid prototyping.
• Experience with data analysis and experimental design methods.
• Knowledge of microfluidics, droplet formation, acoustics is a plus.
• Ability to lead and communicate within a research team.

Responsibilities

• Guide architecture for droplets generation in EUV source.
• Design and test droplet generation hardware and metrology.
• Contribute to roadmaps, learning objectives, and experimental designs.
• Develop system and subsystem performance tests and analyze results.
• Troubleshoot droplet, tin delivery, and optical systems.
• Maintain models and roadmaps, communicate findings to teams.
• Collaborate independently or in teams to achieve objectives.
