GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction, VT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain and improve semiconductor equipment in Fab9. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on tool sets, troubleshoot issues, and communicate status to Leads and Engineers.

The role requires working in a cleanroom, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing long shifts, and flexibility to rotate day/night shifts; requires English proficiency, basic computer skills, and strict safety adherence.

Qualificações

• High School Degree (or equivalent).
• Electrical or mechanical experience: 4+ years total.
• Fluent in English (written & verbal).
• Basic reading and writing; basic computer navigation (Windows, Office, Outlook).
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol.
• Able to work in a standing position for extended periods; lift equipment up to 50 lbs; 2-person lift for heavier items.
• Flexible to work any shift (3-4 days alternating weeks).

Responsabilidades

• Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Monitor, control, and test semiconductor equipment for manufacturing readiness.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Support training activities and work both independently and with teams.
