Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks a Maintenance Technician for its Essex Junction Fab 9 200mm facility, a 24/7 operation. You will monitor, sustain and improve equipment, performing preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure manufacturing readiness.

Role requires reading schematics, using basic tools, and working in a cleanroom with extended standing and lifting. Minimal travel and shift flexibility are expected.

Qualifications

Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
Experience: Electrical or mechanical with relevant options listed.
Ability to read schematics/blueprints and use basic hand tools.
Able to work in a cleanroom environment and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Monitor, sustain, and improve semiconductor equipment and processes.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tool sets.
Communicate equipment status concise updates to leads/engineers.
Follow safe operating procedures and EHS&S policies.
