GlobalFoundries in Essex Junction (Fab9) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes in a 200mm semiconductor facility. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and communicate status to engineers and leads.

The role requires standing/walking long shifts, ability to lift, and strict adherence to EHS&S policies; English fluency and basic computer skills are essential for daily tasks.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
• Electrical or mechanical work experience as described in requirements.
• Paths to qualification include 2-year technical degree + 4 years, or 2 years military + 4 years, or 8 years relevant experience.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).
• Ability to read and write at a basic level and to navigate Windows and Office.

Aufgaben

• Monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes in Fab9 Essex Junction.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned tool sets.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech and/or Engineer.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security procedures.
