Job summary

GlobalFoundries U.S. 2 LLC in Essex Junction, VT seeks a Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and optimize equipment and processes in a fast-paced fab.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and communicate equipment status to leads and engineers. Applicants should have a high school degree or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience, or a 2-year technical degree with 4 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
• Experience: Electrical or mechanical, one of the following: 2-year technical degree plus 4 years of experience; 2 years military plus 4 years; 4+ years in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment as required by procedures.
• Monitor, control, and test semiconductor equipment for manufacturing readiness.
• Recover equipment from process interruptions and document end-of-shift pass downs.
