Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Essex Junction Fab 9 200mm facility. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining semiconductor equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and communicating updates to leads and engineers.

Flexibility for alternating shifts and strong safety awareness are required. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with electrical or mechanical experience and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Electrical or mechanical background with relevant experience is expected.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics/electrical diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and communicate status to leads/engineers.
• Work safely in a cleanroom environment following EHS&S policies.
