GlobalFoundries is hiring for an Etch Sr. Equipment Technician on the night shift at the Essex Junction Fab 9 facility. The role focuses on monitoring, sustaining, and improving semiconductor equipment with preventative and corrective maintenance in a cleanroom environment.

You will troubleshoot using electrical/mechanical skills, document status updates, and coordinate with engineers and the Lead Tech. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, night-shift differential, and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent)
• Experience: 2-year technical degree + 4 years relevant experience OR 2 years military experience + 4 years relevant experience OR 4+ years of relevant experience
• Cleanroom and PPE compliance experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor equipment
• Monitor equipment performance and schedule maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot equipment using mechanical, electrical, and PC skills
• Document events and communicate handoffs clearly to Leads/Engineers
• Work in a fast-paced fab environment with EHS&S compliance
