Inframark in Hartford, CT is seeking a skilled Structurer/Estimator to join our Water & Wastewater Operations team. In this mid-level role, you will develop accurate cost estimates for a range of water and wastewater projects, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to drive competitive proposals.

You will translate technical requirements into structured cost models, analyze cost drivers, and support budgeting and bid processes while ensuring compliance and quality

Formación

• 3–5 years in estimating, cost structuring, or related roles in water and wastewater.
• Deep understanding of water and wastewater systems and cost drivers.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and leadership to translate objectives into detailed cost estimates.
• Develop zero-based cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Interpret permits, SLAs, and performance guarantees to ensure compliant estimates.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities to reduce project costs while maintaining quality.
• Analyze project specs to identify risks and opportunities related to costs.
• Maintain and update cost databases and templates for pricing and cost control.
• Engage vendors to gather data and negotiate pricing where needed.
• Support budgeting and financial planning for proposals and execution.
