Job summary

Belfor Property Restoration in Orlando is seeking a Senior Estimator to create and manage estimates across residential, commercial, and industrial lines. You will meet with clients, develop accurate estimates using Xactimate, and oversee jobs through completion.

Responsibilities include creating floor plans and roof sketches, adhering to budgets, and coordinating with trades to maintain schedules. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Construction, Restoration or Contents Estimating.
• Residential estimates >$50,000 and Commercial up to $100,000.
• BELFOR Estimating Platform Level 1 and 2 completed.
• Xactimate Intermediate training completed.
• National rate and Material invoicing experience.
• English literacy and fluency.
• MSDS Data sheets understanding and applicability to jobs.
• Use BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for estimates and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate scopes with minimal variance (over/under).Create precise floor plans and multi-level/roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch.Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes.Adhere to budgets and address overages as they arise.Use BELFOR naming convention for estimates, proposals and change orders.Coordinate with trades to maintain schedules and on-time completion.Demonstrate proficiency in decontamination, mitigation, containment, and deodorization techniques.Perform investigative demolition and structure cleaning as needed.Engage in BELFOR University training and certifications as required.Independently manage own work and maintain vehicle readiness.
