Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead scope development, budgeting, and scheduling across residential, commercial, and industrial lines. You will prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate, meet with clients, and manage projects through completion while coordinating with management and trades.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience with Xactimate, and adherence to BELFOR standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Construction, Restoration or Contents Estimating.
• Residential estimating >$50,000 and Commercial estimating up to $100,000.
• English literacy and fluency.
• Experience with Xactimate and BELFOR estimating standards.
• Satisfactory completion of BELFOR and Xactimate trainings.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate scopes with minimal over/under estimates.
• Develop floor plans and multi-level/roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch.
• Coordinate after-hours emergency services as directed.
• Maintain construction schedules and manage relationships with trades.
• Communicate project progress with owners, adjusters, and management.
• Ensure compliance with BELFOR naming conventions for estimates and proposals.
• Attend BELFOR University training as part of certification prep.
• Identify site hazards and support risk mitigation efforts.
