Job summary

BELFOR Environmental is seeking a General Estimator to lead estimates across residential, commercial, and industrial lines. You will meet clients, develop quality estimates, manage budgets, and coordinate with management to ensure timely completion using Xactimate and BELFOR standards.

The role requires 3+ years in estimation, strong customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A collaborative, professional approach and knowledge of codes will be essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction, restoration or contents estimating.
• Residential estimates >$50,000 and commercial >$100,000.
• BELFOR Estimating Platform Level 2 certification completed.
• Advanced Xactimate training with 90%+ score.
• English literacy and fluency.
• Knowledge of MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs.
• Use BELFOR estimate formats for proposals and change orders.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Professional demeanor and ability to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial jobs.
• Meet with clients and develop quality, competitive estimates using Xactimate.
• Review budgets and communicate progress with clients and management.
• Maintain schedules and coordinate with trades to complete work on time.
• Demonstrate knowledge of building codes and safety requirements.
• Apply BELFOR naming conventions for all estimates and proposals.
• Assist in continued training and development to advance to higher estimator levels.
• Coordinate after-hours emergency services as directed.
