BELFOR seeks a General Estimator to develop and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will meet with clients, draft accurate scopes, and drive estimates through completion using Xactimate, while coordinating with management on budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• 3 plus years' experience in Construction, Restoration or Contents Estimating.
• Residential estimating experience >$50,000 and Commercial >$100,000.
• BELFOR Estimating Platform Level 2 certification.
• Advanced Xactimate training with 90% score for Level 3 certification.
• English literacy and fluency.
• Understanding of MSDS data sheets.
• BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for estimates.
• Extensive Customer Service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-sketches with multi-levels and/or roof sketches with accuracy.
• Create accurate scopes with few over/under scopes.
• Create floor plans and multi-level/roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch.
• Must have working knowledge of local building codes.
• Create and adhere to budgets; address overages.
• Use BELFOR naming convention for estimates and proposals.
• Identify and address site hazards; coordinate after-hours emergency services.
• Maintain vehicle safety and participate in safety training.
• Independently manage own work and timelines.
