Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead residential, commercial, and industrial estimates using Xactimate. You will meet with clients, develop quality estimates, manage budgets, and track progress from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, knowledge of building codes, and experience with BELFOR estimating standards and safety practices. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Construction, Restoration or Contents Estimating.
• Residential estimating experience in excess of $50,000 and Commercial estimating experience up to $100,000.
• Successful completion of BELFOR Estimating Platform Level 1 and 2 user certification.
• Successful completion of Xactimate Intermediate training class.
• National rate and Material invoicing experience.
• English literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate scopes, very few over/under scopes.
• Create accurate floor plans and multi-level/roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch.
• Must have working knowledge of applicable building codes.
• Create and adhere to acceptable budgets and address overages as they present themselves.
• Maintain a construction schedule and work with trades and management to ensure timely completion.
• Demonstrate proficiency with removal, decontamination, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents and deodorization techniques.
• Participate in BELFOR University training and certification testing.
• Independently manages own work.
• Maintain vehicle safety and maintenance inspections in a clean serviceable condition.
