Job summary

Next 150 Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating process for entire projects in coordination with the Senior Estimating Manager and Preconstruction teams. The role focuses on complex bids across multiple sectors, with the potential to work near any Gilbane office in the U.S.

You will mentor junior estimators, develop reliable cost models, and drive value through clear documentation and cross-functional collaboration with operations, BD, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5-10+ years relevant experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lead the estimating process for projects through design and development.
• Knowledge of On-Screen Take-off, Destini, and Site work software tools.

Responsibilities

• Leads the estimating deliverable for an entire project coordinated with multiple stakeholders.
• Coordinates development of Site Services costs to align with contract requirements.
• Develops cost estimates and budgets from limited information with clear costing assumptions.
• Reviews project plans, requirements, and specifications.
• Coaches and mentors estimators to develop large, multi-disciplinary estimates.
• Develops contingency and allowance values for estimating deliverables.
• Determines labor and equipment costs.
• Reviews bid documents and assesses project risks.
