Gilbane Building Company seeks a Senior Estimator to lead the estimating deliverable for complex projects, coordinating with the Senior Estimating Manager and preconstruction team. This role requires strong leadership of a multi-disciplinary team and deep experience in cost estimation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5–10+ years of relevant experience in estimating or preconstruction.
• Ability to lead estimating processes and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Leads the estimating deliverable for an entire project coordinated with the Senior Estimating Manager, preconstruction lead, operations team, and BD staff.
• Coordinates development of Site Services costs with operations, senior estimator, and preconstruction lead.
• Develops cost estimates and budgets with clear cost assumptions.
• Reviews project plans, requirements, and specifications.
• Coaches and mentors estimators on large, multi-disciplinary estimates.
• Determines labor and equipment costs; assesses bid risks.
• Attends bid reviews and collaborates with clients during interviews.
