Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead electrical construction bid estimating. You will prepare detailed cost estimates from take-offs, review drawings and specs, and drive value engineering discussions.

The role requires leadership of junior estimators and coordination with suppliers and clients to ensure accurate, timely bids. The position supports major national projects; it emphasizes accuracy, project control, and collaboration across estimating, project management, and procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ estimating or related experience in construction.
• Experience in Accubid estimating software, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam preferred.
• Experience in CAD or 3D software preferred.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off and complete estimate for printout.
• Identify parts of project key to a competitive estimate.
• Review specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Evaluate areas for potential value engineering cost savings.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing sub estimates.
• Maintain documents and data backing up estimate figures.
• Develop labor productivity and unit costs based on site conditions.
• Prepare detailed listing of materials and equipment; obtain quotes.
