Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering information, performing advanced analyses, and presenting options to leadership for decisions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent and advanced numerical skills and an analytical mindset. You must also be thorough and adept in managing relationships with key people – both within DCS

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of proven experience as estimator or similar position.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with advanced math.
• Experience with data analysis methods and estimation formulas.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI for data modeling and budgeting.
• Ability to manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting model.
• Determine key variables for cost estimates and be able to gather data from sites and vendors.
• Conduct research to obtain labor, materials, and production cost data.
• Use software for data analysis, modeling, forecasting and budgeting.
• Review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors.
• Create and submit estimate reports and bids to leadership.
• Build relationships with key vendors and engineers.
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews.
