Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance, LLC is seeking an experienced estimator to support growth in performance-based maintenance contracting for roadways and bridges. You will prepare detailed estimates for bids by gathering data, performing analysis, and presenting options to leadership.

The ideal candidate has advanced numerical skills, strong data analysis abilities, and can manage relationships with key stakeholders and vendors. This full-time position requires flexibility for heavy workloads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as estimator or similar position, highway or structures asset maintenance a plus.
• Deep knowledge of financial and project management principles.
• Advanced math and data analysis skills with IT proficiency.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and data modeling for estimates.
• Understanding of AI applications in estimation and pricing.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with executives.

Responsibilities

• Understand the performance-based maintenance contracting model.
• Determine key variables for cost estimates and bids.
• Gather data from sites, suppliers, subcontractors and operators.
• Conduct labor, materials, production times research; update estimates.
• Create and submit estimate reports to project managers and leadership.
• Build relationships with vendors, subcontractors and engineers.
• Present bids to Company Leadership at gate reviews.
